We just have to find them!

I've done felt mittens with the top inside piece made of suede (upcycled). They are great. My pattern looks much like yours. The fun part is deciding which different sweaters to combine.

I use the xerox machine to re-size patterns. Just copy your original pattern at 90%, or 95%, or even 110%...Lorahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08962048707466871664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6089804831984654807.post-43749127004054300092010-09-19T11:19:28.031-07:002010-09-19T11:19:28.031-07:00Thanks. When I have more time i'll post links. My pattern was originally from somewhere online, but i've tweaked it so much it no longer resembles the pattern.

Christina, You're not paying yourself enough! Great idea with the suede! I would have liked to have had children's mittens, but ran out of time. Maybe after the show.Resweaterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18129070280252270568noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6089804831984654807.post-14967462979575694972010-09-17T11:07:12.352-07:002010-09-17T11:07:12.352-07:00These mittens are darling! Sold them for $12 and they went like hotcakes! Some wool lined and some fleece. I also had a school bus driver ask if I could make them "non" slippy so she could use them for driving. Add a scrap of suede (I have a leather jacket I'm upcycling)and they are perfect for driving too!
Oh I did them just One size fits most but had a few requests for a kids size. So I'm drafting up a pattern for a smaller size. My pattern was passed down.
They are fun to make too!
