Now the one I made was a bit too thick... I knew this going in, but I really wanted to use that sweater for some reason. I didn't end up liking the ribbon on mine because of the thickness, but I do like it without the ribbon! Now I have a super long scarf with wavy edges, and there's a dozen ways I can wear it, so I am happy with it :) Sorry for the weird pictures, but I had to use the timer setting on my camera & the bathroom mirror to get these!
oh to have a zigzag feature on my old Singer!!
ReplyDeleteOh mary, I feel your pain! Up until this December, I have only had a 1949 Singer. If it makes you feel better, the new machine & I don't get along together. While I never had problems with the Singer, the new one drives me bonkers!
