It's Feature Friday!

I think instead of featuring individual shops and blogs on Feature Fridays, i'm just going to start posting recycled wool & recycled cashmere stuff that I thought was great, that I found throughout the week. Kinda like Pinterest! Just click on the pictures to go to the original posts that the pictures came from.

Adorable cashmere skirt from Lil Fish Studios. SO cute!

Some stunning baby blankets from Finish Something Already...

and last, but not least, this cute little guy from Bread & Buttons...

Happy Friday!

It's Feature Friday! Morning Glory Workshop

When I first saw Barby's felted mice, with recycled wool clothing, I was blown away. Not only are they tiny masterpieces, but the cuteness is overwhelming! She sells her mice in her Ebay store, but she also sells classes on how to make them, and kits, in her Etsy shop, Morning Glory Workshop. So, whether you want to buy them or make them, she's got you covered!

It's Feature Friday - A blog you will love... The Sweater Project

If you like my blog, then you will love Janda's blog, The Sweater Project! What is her blog about?

"My goal is to create a project every day for 365 days, the inspiration being from Noah Scalin who wrote the book, 365:Make Something Every Day and Change Your Life. My downfall has been to think/overthink the projects I want to make, but never getting to them because of my perfectionistic tendencies. I am now past the 50-Day mark, and this has brought a new vigor to me in many ways. Now I am hooked on the process and look forward to each day to create something fresh and new. Happiness abounds!" -from The Sweater Project

I've been happily following her blog, and don't know why it hasn't occurred to me to post this sooner! What kind of projects will you find on her blog? A little bit of this...

a little bit of that...

but all of it is woolly fun!

Feature Friday - Cookies For Sale

When I saw this Etsy shop, Cookies for Sale, through a blog giveaway, I knew I had to have one of the necklaces! I decided to have one made to wear to shows. The necklaces she sent were perfect, and even nicer than I expected. The customer service was superb... quick & thorough communication, and the whole process, including shipping time, took less than a week! Her prices are extremely low for custom work. She even makes wooden play cakes that can be decorated with chalk. Definitely some great gift ideas! I can't wait to order myself a family tree one next!
