Georgie Girls Originals

If you haven't noticed yet, I love purses & bags. I'm on the verge of needing a 12 step program for it, so when I saw these totes I think I drooled a little. Not only are they recycled wool, and beautiful, but they are so practical! As a busy mom, I love a good sturdy tote bag. You can find these beautiful bags in Georgie Girls Original's Etsy shop. Mmwolters, flower pins & purses

I decided to look on Ebay to see if there were any crafters/artisans that sold their recycled wool goodies there, and found mmwolters. Not only does she sell on Ebay, but she has an Etsy shop under the same name as well. She sells cute purses, beautiful flower brooches, and pretty pincushions. Those cheerful flowers remind me of spring, so I was happy to find them :) I was unable to copy any pictures of the lovely things she has on Ebay, so you will have to visit there to see them all.

Needles and Kims

I love purses (not designer, but beautiful handmade purses), so to me these bags are the perfect Christmas gift! What woman on your list wouldn't want one of these gorgeous, one of a kind, recycled wool purses? These are very affordably priced, and can be found in Etsy shop Needles and Kims!

It's usually me that seeks out recycled wool artisans to feature, but this one came to me... looking for a sweater. The irony?... it was the same sweater that was in my giveaway last month! My new purse!

First, I have to apologize for not posting all week. I brought an infected spider bite home from vacation as a souvenir, and have been having fun with that. Also, my poor old dog had 2 abscessed teeth (poor thing!), and was incontinent & not eating for days. Before you label me "Debbie Downer", I am happy to the report the spider bite healed up fabulously, and my dog is feeling great & eating after her adventures to the vet this week. I still have a messy house, but that's nothing time can't heal ;)

Onward & upward to my new purse! Shortly before I went on vacation I decided that I MUST have one of Karen Meyer's purses. I contacted her, and after some great questions on her end, she made me a custom purse. When I got back, the package was waiting for me. It's better than I thought! I had her put pockets on the end for me & my son's water bottles that we always have with us, and I love orange & brown, so this purse is perfect. The pictures don't do this purse justice. The amount of detail isfantastic. Where can I get me one of these fabulous purses, you ask? She has an Etsy shop, as well as her website.

Every now & then, when I have extra time (ok, not exactly extra time, but ignoring the laundry & dishes time) I like to see what my blog followers are up to.
